Do you have a support group? Support from people who struggle with similar problems is important. And have you looked in to a NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) near you? There are hands being held out, sometimes we just have to find them and then hold them tight. I'm teaching a class at my local High School this next week that is NAM created, it's called "Breaking The Silence". I have taken your virtual hand and I'm holding it tight.

Aimee, You continue to amaze and inspire me. The truth with which you live your life, is powerful beyond words. I have no doubt you are touching the lives of countless others in very positive ways. Aimee, you were mentioned to approx. 120 9th graders yesterday in my "Breaking The Silence" workshops - I was delighted to be able to tell them about you and to also tell them that by knowing about you they were already making a difference. A pebble in the pond of removing stigma and to better understanding of mental disorder! We're thinking of you.
